Beginning with this
website, we invite others to create Happy Endings websites in
their communities in the hope that, one day, a website such as
this will serve every community. We will provide to anyone
interested in doing so a CD or Zipfile with the complete layout
of this website and instructions on how to set it up. All
they will need to do is tinker with the files to make it specific
to that community, line up the local press to publicize it, con a local ISP into
providing free bandwidth as a charitable contribution, con local
businesses into paying for a URL, and it's
up and running. We only request that they run under the
Happy Endings name and adhere to our basic policies and
principles. Those policies and principles are:
1. We do not accept compensation of any kind for the services we
provide.
2. We do not provide services for people buying or selling
animals, goods or services.
3. We preach incessantly about responsible pet ownership,
stressing the importance of spaying and neutering.
Our material is copyrighted solely
to prevent it from being subverted to any commercial use.
Individuals or nonprofit organizations wishing to set up similar
websites may use it freely.
